Quarter machine will only give you all quarters if you use single dollar bills.
They have upgraded all of the machines to commercial front loaders of varying sizes. Its a bit expensive to do a load at $5 for a medium, $7 for a large, $11 for a jumbo, but they sure work great. The place is well lit.
It has a bathroom, free wifi and TV while you wait!
Unfortunately, because of a septic tank problem, we had to use a coin-operated laundry for the first time in over 40 years. Fortunately, we found the Maytag Laundry in Forest Lake by googling ... and it turned out to be a totally positive experience. We found the Maytag Laundry to be convenient, clean, quick, and easy to use for somebody who hasn't seen the inside of a laundromat in decades. Things have changed in 40+ years, folks! Forget the need to bring handfuls of quarters ... the washers and dryers accept credit cards just like at a gas station!! Yes ... there was a bit of sticker shock comparing the cost to what we remembered from 40 years ago ... but it was worth it. Why? Because, the Maytag Laundry was even air-conditioned on a day when it was near 90 degrees. What more do you want in a coin-operated laundry -- comfortable, clean, cool ... I totally recommend this place!
I have always liked this place. It's always been clean when I go and it's never really too busy so I can use the big washers without waiting. I will continue to go there.
Largest washer and dryer I have ever seen in my life! If you have a credit card you don't have to being change! Lots if baskets that all work and the baskets have a slant to the too of them to help prevent your clothing from falling on the ground. Bathroom is clean and so is everything else for that matter. I was very impressed.
