i don't think I've walked in here once and felt welcomed by employees. I'm not saying I want the full out customer service experience but I simple nod or "hi" would do, but they basically just ignore you. Also be careful when buying food from here. 3 times now I've bought stuff that was bad. First time I bought a sac of potatoes, two days later they were moldy. Another time I bought a bag of little donuts to bring to the cabin, didnt realize they expired the day before I bought them. And the final time I bought the same type of donuts on September 15, 2017. Brought them to the cabin for bow opener and opened them up and they were completely covered in mold and the date showed they expired September 1, 2017. How disgusting, I know it's partially my fault for not checking the expiration date before buying, but leaving something on the shelf 2 weeks after it's expired is completely disgusting and unacceptable. You'd think a big company would have better control over checking expired or close to being expired food.
They have a great selection of different foods, especially if you need to eat gluten free. The sales are great and the staff is always really friendly. I love that they have a piece of free fruit for kiddos while shopping. Very nice! Always clean, too.
A little over priced if you ask me. The price of their carbonated h20 water is good, but everything else is expensive. One of the meat and non dairy cheese pizzas I used to eat is small and 10 bucks! really?
The store is laid out welll. The cashier was friendly and efficent.
It's hard to believe with all the grocery competition out there (Wal-Mart, Target, Aldi, etc.) that the Cub store manager doesn't do a better job encouraging store employees to be courteous to store patrons. The absolute worse part of this store is the deli. I have witnessed 3 or 4 employees working behind the counter and they don't even look up to greet a customer. There was one occasion where the employee turned around and asked me, "do you want something?" Unacceptable. I don't even ask a stock person for help anymore (attitude) - who wants to feel like your bothering someone? I don't need this.
