We just purchased a used Jeep Liberty from Shane at Lake Side and we feel like we made a good purchase and were treated right, We took the vehicle to a local mechanic on our test drive who was able to pull up the vehicle history and go over it with a fine tooth comb and did find a few issues that needed repair right away. When we came back I brought up the few issues and they offered to fix the issues for free but we weren't local and I have a shop I trust at home to do the work. So they came down on price a little bit instead.

Absolutely the worst car buying experience of my life. After I found a 3/4 ton suburban on their internet site I called and talked to the sales manager about the vehicle. He assured me that it was in excellent condition and said I wouldn't find a nicer one around. I flew in from Washington State to their dealership in Minnesota and looked at the car. It did look really nice so I paid over 20 thousand high blue book for the 07 suburban and drive home to Washington. After a few months the paint started to bubble around the fenders so I took the car to an auto body shop where I was told that the car had extensive rust problems that had been freshly painted over.I was told that repairs would start at 5000 and could be more depending on the damage. I tried for several months to talk to the manager but he would never return my calls. I finally found his cell number on the invoice I had from buying the car and I called him directly. He told me that it had been too long since I bought the car and they would not be able to help me with repairs. I told him I had been trying for months to get ahold of him but he would not return my calls. I also told him that I wasn't accusing his dealership of painting the car as they bought it at auction and it could have been painted by the previous owner. I also said that if they were a reputable dealership they shouldn't want to make money off of a car like that and since I bought the car for cash and did not trade in a vehicle that I would be happy if they gave me the money that was made on the sale of the vehicle to use toward repainting it. He said he would call the owner and get back to me. That was a year ago and he won't answer my calls so finally out of frustration I figured people should know what kind of dealership this is and what kind of man runs it. They are everything that epitomises the crooked used car dealer. They have made it hard for me to trust used car salesmen in the future. In closing I will only say buyer beware these guys are shysters

I will update the review if the vehicle suddenly starts to fall apart or the warranty is bad etc...

Their salesman, Shane Jackson is very knowledgeable and guided us through the purchase without any hassle. The service department is also outstanding!

Bought this beautiful F150 from Shane at Lakeside auto. I got their name from my friend Gail who bought a pickup from them the month before. She had a great experience when her truck happened to have a brake noise a couple weeks into ownership. She called Shane and they fixed the brakes for free even though it was an "as is" sale. You can trust Lakeside! A+!

Shane was friendly and gave us the time to make our decision. He made sure we had all the information we asked for to address our concerns. Everyone was friendly and efficient! Thank you.

I would do business here again but I would always recommend having a shop look at any used vehicle you are considering purchasing, The $125 we spent on the inspection was worth it in what we saved off the asking price.
